Glastonbury Dreams Begin Here

GLA Project Review Committee Minutes

What does the GLA Project Review Committee do? The Project Review Committee helps landowners plan improvements that meet the GLA's governing documents. Covenant 6.01 requires plans to be submitted for review and approval before construction begins on projects subject to review. Although this process takes time, clear rules help protect neighboring properties, preserve Glastonbury's character, and identify problems before they become expensive disputes or construction changes. Consistent review also helps ensure that landowners are treated fairly under the same standards. Reasonable, properly authorized review fees can help cover the cost of processing applications and reviewing plans, placing those project-related costs on applicants rather than spreading them across all landowners. Since the work is mostly done by volunteers, most of the fees are used for road maintenance.
GLA approval does not replace required state and county government permits or professional design and engineering.
Please join our Project Review Committee meetings to ask questions, understand the requirements, and help turn your plans into a well-prepared project.
